Artisanal Microlobby: Artist Mya Kerner

June 7, 2017

As clear sunny days become more frequent, Seattleites are treated to breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains around us. At 1148 NW Leary, those views have come inside to brighten our Artisanal Microlobby!

For the third installation featuring work of local artists and craftspeople, we have asked local Ballard artist Mya Kerner to display her work, including paintings from her mountain series, in our lobby. Mya is originally from Philadelphia, and she now occupies a studio just a few doors down from us. She has worked and studied widely in the US and abroad, with a range of media and subject matter, including metal casting, found artifacts, and graphite and oil paintings of landscapes, water and mountains.

Come by our office to learn more about Mya and see her work. Her cool mountain vistas are a refreshing sight on a hot summer afternoon.
